Conca Oasis

About five kilometres far from Gabicce, north of Cattolica, there is a naturalistic oasis situated on the banks of the river Conca.

It begins in Morciano di Romagna and continues as far as the river mouth in Cattolica. It covers an area of 702 hectares, and there are well-equipped cycle paths along the banks of the river, to the right and left of the river banks. These can be enjoyed on foot or by bicycle. The difference in height is minimal, making them suitable for the whole family. Along these routes there are ornithological observatories with loopholes and explanatory panels. With a bit of luck you may catch a glimpse of the white stork, the black stork, the white heron and the pelican.
