Iron Cross of Sailors

Within the San Bartolo Park, there is a path which, through a wood, leads to an extremely fascinating panoramic point: the one marked by the Sailors' Iron Cross. This path follows the ridge that from the Pesaro lighthouse heads towards Mount Castellaro. Right on the top of this hill we find the cross, which symbolizes protection for sailors and farmers. This itinerary is particularly suitable for those who adore the unusual scenery that the clayey and marly cliffs offer the world every day. The excursion to the Croce di Ferro is of medium difficulty, therefore not suitable for children.
