Cattolica Aquarium

The world of sharks and 3000 fish from all seas in the largest aquarium in the Adriatic.

Cattolica's Aquarium is the second largest and most lush aquarium in Italy after the one in Genoa. It is situated seven kilometres far from Gabicce and it is suitable for the whole family. You will be immersed, through didactic historical paths, in the magnificent marine world of yesterday and today, with an eye to the future. In total you can admire about three thousand specimens of four hundred marine species. But perhaps the most exciting aspect is the close encounter with tiger sharks, which can be observed inside a large circular tank.
